Information About Reservations
Reservations

A signed contract and a non-refundable retainer of $250 is required at the time of booking to reserve a date. The retainer is deducted from your total balance with a final payment due no later than 14 days prior to the event. Contact Us to obtain a quote for your event.

INFORMATION ABOUT RETAINERS AND PAYMENT
Overtime

If, on the day of the event, you decide to extend the DJ’s services past the agreed upon end time, the cost charged will be the DJ’s prevailing standard hourly rate in effect at the time of the event.  Extension of services must be agreed to by the DJ and payment made prior to the DJ beginning the extended play. The DJ does not, however, guarantee the availability of extended services.  If services are extended, the DJ will comply with any county sound ordinances and will not play past times permitted by the county for amplified music.

Forms of Payment Accepted

We accept cash, checks, Venmo, and bank or credit card payments through Square, Inc. Fees apply for Square payments.

INFORMATION ABOUT OUR POLICIES

We understand that life doesn't always go according to plan and unexpected situations occur.  That is why we have implemented the following rescheduling, inclement weather, cancellation, and refund policies.  Note:  Payments are not transferable, not assignable, nor refundable except as explicitly described below.  Any refund shall be paid out at month’s end.

Rescheduling

Rescheduling 15 days or more: If the Client needs to reschedule the event and provides a notice to the DJ of 15 days or more prior to the original event date, the DJ will allow the Clients a “one-time” transfer of the $250 non-refundable retainer to the new date and no new retainer will be required, but only if the rebooking is made within 30 days of the originally scheduled event. The rebooked date must be within 12 months of the original booking date. Any new date requested by the Client is subject to the DJ’s availability. If after 30 days, no date is rebooked, the retainer will be forfeited, and a new retainer will be required to reserve a new date.

Rescheduling 14 days or less: If a Client needs to reschedule the event and provides notice to the DJ of 14 days or less, the $250 non-refundable retainer will be forfeited, and a new retainer will be required for the new booking.  However, any monies paid in excess of the $250 retainer will transfer to the new date if the new reservation is made within 30 days of the original event. The rebooked date must be within 12 months of the original booking date. If after 30 days, no date is rebooked, the full contracted amount will be due and paid by the Client to the DJ.

Inclement Weather

If a Client needs to reschedule the event due to extreme inclement weather, the DJ must be provided a minimum of 24 hours advanced notice and concur with the termination.  Refer to “Rescheduling” for more information.

Cancellations

Due to the short timeframe, difficulty obtaining last minute substitute bookings, and loss of income incurred by the DJ, Client cancellations of the event made 14 days, or less, prior to the date of the original event—and which are not rescheduled in accordance with the Rescheduling policies—will result in the full contracted total due by the Client to be paid to the DJ.

Refunds

The $250 retainer, paid at the time of booking, is non-refundable.  See the Rescheduling policy above for information on transferring the $250 to another booking.  Any refund owed to the Client shall be paid out at month’s end.
